3. Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information

If personal information must continue to be retained under other laws despite meeting destruction requirements, it will be stored in a separate database (DB) or kept in a different storage location.

These rights may also be exercised through a legal representative or delegated person. In such cases, a power of attorney in the form specified in the “Public Notice on Personal Information Processing Methods (No. 2020-7)” must be submitted.

Requests for access or suspension of processing may be restricted under Articles 35(4) and 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act. Requests for deletion may not be accepted if the information is required by other laws to be retained. The site verifies that the requester is the data subject or an authorized representative.
