Jungwoo Vina and Jungwoo Textile's donation for forest fire damage was prepared to support relief activities for victims suffering from large-scale forest fires in Yeongnam.
According to the Seoul branch of the Red Cross, donations for victims of forest fires will be delivered through a donation execution review committee composed of internal and external members of the Korean Red Cross. In cooperation with administrative agencies, the plan is to deliver necessary support for the restoration of victims and forest fire-affected areas according to the results of the on-site investigation and the request of the affected cities and provinces.

"Jungwoo Vina and Jungwoo Textile, which are ESG practice companies of the Korean Red Cross, deliver regular donations to vulnerable people in the community every month," said Kwon Young-kyu, chairman of the Seoul branch of the Red Cross.
The Seoul branch of the Red Cross launched an emergency fundraising campaign on the 26th of last month to help victims affected by the forest fire, and participation in fundraising is possible through the Red Cross's Seoul branch account remittance (KDB/091801-04-122082) and inquiry call (02-2290-6707).
We wanted to deliver a small message of support to victims who lost their homes due to wildfires even when export companies were in difficult conditions, said Oh Byung-chul, chairman of Jung Woo-bina and Jung Woo-fibre.
Meanwhile, Jungwoo Vina and Jungwoo Textile reportedly donated 50 million won to an animal protection group, Korean Dogs, after hearing that it was very difficult because there were no treatment costs even though many animals burned with leashes from the forest fire.
